With this spirit we took on our client's request to develop a single station robot cell for PCB potting. The fully automatic resin dispensing system that we conceived comprises a meter/mixing system DOS A90, with a pressure tank for the resin and another one for the hardener, a 6-axles piece handling robot and an aluminum work place structure complete with an optical sensor for work piece monitoring and rejects handling. The right choice of resin material combined with the 6-axles robot make for the possibility of easily resin both PCB sides without time constraints.
